An Angel For Satan

(1966) One of the last and most interesting Italian horror productions featuring the alluring Barbara Steele, this obscure feature from Crypt of the Vampire director Camillo Mastrocinque apparently never found distribution in English, and dubbed or subtitled prints are all but nonexistent. Steele's character in the film is haunted by a decrepit statue submerged in a lake, whose features look disturbingly like her own. Upon complete restoration of the statue, Steele begins to take on the psychotic traits of the woman upon whom the sculpture was based -- a woman the townspeople believe was a much-feared sorceress of local legend. This version of the film is in Italian with English subtitles.

Attack of the Monsters

(1969) Three children, two boys and a girl, stumble upon a flying saucer. The boys both step in without hesitating, and are whisked away to a planet in Earth's orbit but on the exact opposite side of the Sun. Inhabiting this planet are two women with Midwestern accents, who hypnotize the children to find they fantasize about milk, donuts, and Gamera, our favorite hero turtle. The women simply want to eat their brains.

Audrey Rose

(1977) In New York, Janice Templeton is happily married to executive Bill Templeton and they live in a comfortable and fancy apartment with their eleven-year-old daughter Ivy. One day, Janice is stalked by a weirdo and she tells her husband. Soon afterwards the stranger contacts them and invites the couple to meet him in a restaurant. Elliot Hoover tells Janice and Bill that his daughter Audrey Rose died eleven years ago, burned in a car crash, and her soul has been reincarnated in Ivy's body. Bill and Janice believe that Elliot is nuts, and Bill tells his lawyer to get a restraining order against Elliot. However, Ivy has dreadful nightmares and only Elliot is able to calm her down. When Elliot abducts Ivy, Bill and Janice go to court to have him arrested. But Elliot wants to prove that Ivy and Audrey Rose are the same soul.

Beward My Lovely

(1952) Helen Gordon hires Howard Wilton as a handyman to do chores around her house. She doesn't know what she's let herself in for. Insecure and paranoid, Wilton thinks everyone, including Helen, is against him. He suffers from memory lapses and extreme mood swings. She's soon a prisoner in her own house after Wilton locks the doors and tears out the telephone. His mood swings from violence to complacency but after Helen gets a message to the police via a telephone repairman, she finds he is still in the house.

Crawlspace

(1972) Elderly couple Albert Graves, (Arthur Kennedy) and his wife Alice (Teresa Wright) have just moved from the city to a small country town to help Albert recuperate from a heart attack. After they discover a problem with the furnace in their basement, they call for a repairman to come out and service it. The repair company sends a boy by the name of Richard Atlee, (Tom Happer) to the house. The couple takes an interest in Richard, so they invite him to stay for dinner. A few days later, Arthur awakens to hear noise coming from under the house. To Arthur's shock and bewilderment, he finds that the boy, Richard, has taken residence in the crawlspace of the house. Trouble begins when he begins to act violently.

Curse of the Crimson Cult

(1968) Robert Manning (Mark Eden) searches for his brother, who was last known to have visited the remote house of Craxted Lodge at Greymarsh. Arriving at night, he finds a party is in progress, and he is invited to stay by Eve (Virginia Wetherell), the niece of the owner of the house. His sleep is restless and strange dreams of ritual sacrifice disturb him. Inquiring about his brother, he is assured by the house owner, Morley (Christopher Lee), that the man is not there. Manning’s suspicions are aroused by nightmarish hallucinations. Occult expert Professor Marshe (Boris Karloff) informs Manning about a witchcraft cult led by Morley's ancestor, Lavinia (Barbara Steele). The cult is discovered to still be active.

(1955) The British are desperate to shorten the length of WW2 and propose a daring raid to smash Germany's industrial heart. At first the objective looks impossible until a British scientist invents an ingenious weapon capable of destroying the planned target. The attack on the Death Star in the climax of the film Star Wars is a deliberate and acknowledged homage to the climactic sequence of The Dam Busters.

Dark Intruder

(1965) Criminologist Brett Kingsford, who poses as a wealthy playboy to disguise his identity as a detective, is called upon by police to solve a series of related murders in turn-of-the-century San Francisco. The victims were found clawed, a small Oriental statue beside each corpse.

(1973) This small-screen Rosemary's Baby clone stars Belinda Montgomery as a young woman targeted by a group of Satanists. It seems that Belinda's soul was purchased from the Devil when the girl was born, with payment due when she reaches the age of 21. Shelley Winters is at her overbearing best as the head of the cultists, while horror-flick vets Joseph Cotten and Jonathan Frid (known for his portrayal of Barnabas Collins in Dark Shadows) do their utmost to create the proper demonic atmosphere. Colin Higgins, who moved on to such prestige projects as Silver Streak and Foul Play, conjured up the script for The Devil's Daughter.

Devil's Rock

(2011) A crack kiwi commando team are sent on a top secret mission to destroy gun emplacements inside German occupied territory in the Channel Islands on the eve of D-Day. They are diverted off their landing point by strong currents, but eventually find themselves near the entrance of an ominous German bunker. After placing explosives on the gun turret, they surprise and kill a German soldier fleeing from the bunker pleading for help. The screams of a woman follow from inside and Grogan makes the decision to go on an unauthorised rescue mission, leaving Tane behind. Once inside, Grogan encounters more than he bargained for - a scene of unworldly carnage, where only a mysterious Nazi officer and a beautiful but Devilish captive remain alive.

(1965) A young man visits his fiancée's estate to discover that her wheelchair-bound scientist father (Boris Karloff) has discovered a meteorite that emits mutating radiation rays that have turned the plants in his greenhouse to giants. When his own wife falls victim to this mysterious power, the old man takes it upon himself to destroy the glowing object with disastrous results.

Empire of the Ants

(1977) Marilyn Fryser (Joan Collins) is a less than scrupulous businesswoman who is trying to sell shares in a worthless Florida housing development to a group of naive souls. However, both Marilyn and her potential customers have bigger things to worry about than low property values, when they discover that a large stock of nuclear waste was dumped near the development site, and the result is a pack of gigantic mutated ants with a nasty disposition and a taste for human blood.

Gammera The Invincible

(1966) One of the most fearsome of the Japanese monsters to hit the screen in the early 60's makes his debut in this sci-fi thriller. As tensions between America and the Soviet Union rise to a fever pitch, U.S. troops shoot down a Russian bomber which is flying low in an Arctic region. The bomber crashes, and its payload of hydrogen bombs explode upon impact. The blast releases and awakens Gammera, a gigantic fire-breathing turtle which had been frozen under the ice since prehistoric times.

Ghost

(1963) In 1910 an unfaithful wife persuades her doctor lover to inject her ailing husband with poison. Following his funeral, the husband's ghost appears before the wife to inform her where he has hidden his jewels. The wife investigates and finds the jewel box empty, and her husband's housekeeper swears the gems were taken by the doctor.

(1974) When their own world is in danger of being sucked into a black hole, ape-like aliens from the Third Planet seek to relocate to Earth. Realizing that Godzilla is the most powerful obstacle in their path to conquest, the aliens construct a cyborg duplicate of Godzilla called Mechagodzilla.

(1971) A pollution monster named Hedorah comes from outer space. First it terrorizes sea, then it goes on land where it encounters Godzilla. After it's fight with Godzilla it retreats, only to reappear again in a flying form and it starts to kill people. Then Hedorah takes on it's final form, that's when the Godzilla comes and the battle that decides the fate of the world begins.

Halloween with the Addams Family

(1977) Halloween with the New Addams Family is a 74-minute TV special based around the TV comedy series which ran from 1964 to 1966. The special first aired in the United States on NBC on October 30, 1977. Most of the principle cast members from the 1960s TV series reprise their roles in Halloween with the New Addams Family; John Astin plays Gomez Addams, Carolyn Jones plays Morticia Addams, Jackie Coogan plays Uncle Fester, Ted Cassidy plays Lurch the butler and Felix Silla plays Cousin Itt. Lisa Loring and Ken Weatherwax, who had played Wednesday and Pugsley Addams as children in the 1960s series, return to play the same roles as young adults in the special. Blossom Rock was unable to take part in the program due to illness, Jane Rose replaced her in the role of Grandmama Addams.

Ilsa, She-Wolf of the SS

(1975) Busty Las Vegas showgirl Dyanne Thorne made her cult reputation in the title role as Ilsa, the sadistically depraved directress of Medical Camp 9. It is a memorable performance and was so popular that Thorne was resurrected in similar roles on three subsequent occasions. Despite its controversial themes, Ilsa, She-Wolf of the S.S. is much less of a death-camp movie than a mixture of women's prison thriller and escape film.

Invasion U.S.A.

(1952) The "Red Scare" of the early 1950s was exploited for cinematic purposes in the Albert Zugsmith production Invasion USA. As a diverse group of customers in a New York bar discuss politics, a special news bulletin on the bar's TV set announces that enemy troops have invaded Alaska and are heading for the continental U.S. In a panic, everyone rushes home to await his or her fate. Only the mysterious Mr. Ohman (Dan O'Herlihy) reacts calmly to the invasion news, for reasons that are explained at film's end. In the meantime, the enemy not only invades the major cities of America, but simultaneously A-bombs them!

Killdozer

(1974) Killdozer! is a made for TV science-fiction horror movie, adapted from a 1944 novella of the same name by Theodore Sturgeon. A comic book adaptation appeared the same year, in Marvel Comics' Worlds Unknown #6. The film has since gained a cult following. Construction workers building an airstrip on a small Pacific Island encounter an ancient non-material lifeform which has lived in the ruins of an ancient temple for millenia. The entity is of course malevolent and commandeers the earthmoving equipment to the general detriment of all concerned.

King Kong Escapes

(1967) When a mechanical replica of King Kong is unable to dig for the highly radioactive Element X at the North Pole, the evil Doctor Who and his sponsor Madame Piranha (Madame X in the American release) decide to kidnap the real Kong. As an insurance policy they kidnap Lt. Susan Miller as well as her boyfriend Lt. CommanderJiro Nomura and Cmdr. Carl Nelson (Kong developed a crush on Susan when she Nomura and Nelson visited the Kong at his home on Mondo Island). Kong later escapes and heads for Tokyo. Susan and the others also escape. Who and his minions follow him and activate Mechani-Kong in order to recapture him. Susan is then grabbed by the robot and is taken to the top of Tokyo Tower and a battle ensues between Kong and his robotic replica.

King Kong Lives

(1986) Kong falls from the Twin Towers and he appears to be alive. However, his heart is failing, so it's replaced with an artificial one. All is well until he senses that there's a female Kong somewhere out there and escapes wreaking havoc.

This film is a sequel to the remake of the original King Kong movie which was released in 1976 which starred Jessica Lange and Jeff Bridges. King Kong Lives stars Linda Hamilton as the scientist trying to save Kong's life with the heart transplant.

Night Walker

(1964) The film chronicles the ordeal of Irene Trent (Stanwyck), who is unhappily married to a blind, pathologically possessive millionaire inventor, Howard Trent (Rorke). Howard and Irene's palatial mansion is packed with an endless assortment of cuckoo clocks, all in perfect synchronization, and Howard tape records all conversations in the house for later reference, hoping to catch Irene plotting an illicit liaison. Irene thus lives in a constant state of dread, wondering how far Howard's jealousy will go. Yet despite Howard's continual accusations of infidelity, Irene remains faithful to Howard, despite nightly recurrent dreams of a fantasy lover and an attraction to Howard's personal attorney, Barry Moreland (Taylor), the only visitor allowed in the house. Howard is killed by an explosion in his laboratory, and Irene inherits the house and Howard's entire fortune. Irene begins to have strange dreams but the reality behind Irene's dreams is a secret that The Night Walker withholds until the very end; a bizarre and complex tale of murder, betrayal, and deception.

(1988) Nadine Story (Traci Lords) is a nurse working in the office of Dr. Rochelle (Ace Mask). She encounters an unusual patient Mr. Johnson (Arthur Roberts), who is always dressed in black, wears dark sunglasses and demands a blood transfusion. After Dr. Rochelle tests Johnson's blood, he's surprised to discover the man's body isn't producing blood in the usual manner, and Johnson hires Nadine to work in his home and give him regular transfusions. With the help of her boyfriend Harry (Roger Lodge), she soon discovers that Johnson an emissary from the planet Davanna, who is looking for a ready supply of human blood his people need to survive.

This film is a remake of Roger Corman's 1957 original film with Beverly Garland and Paul Birch.

This film was edited from eight episodes of Disney's hit TV series and made into a feature film the same way that

Walt Disney packaged the hit Davy Crockett episodes into two feature films for American audiences. Zorro, was filmed in black and white to keep production costs down.

Terrornauts

(1967) Dr. Joe Burke heads a British scientific project seeking to establish communication with living beings on other planets. After 4 years and thousands of pounds spent with no results, Burke and his staff members, Sandy Lund and Ben Keller, are strictly reined in by Dr. Henry Shore, director of the observatory and chief opponent of the project. Although Burke eventually receives faint signals from an unidentified planet in the asteroid belt, Shore remains dubious. Suddenly all lights in the laboratory black out, caused by the descent of an alien spaceship towards Earth. The ship transports the building and its inhabitants through space to another planet where a robot tests the scientists to determine their intelligence. The robot then leads the group to another alien planet where green humanoid savages, who were once highly civilized humans, are planning to inflict a similar fate on the remaining civilized planets. Burke and his colleagues are held captive, but their scientific knowledge enables them to destroy the savages' spaceships and transport themselves back to Earth.

Time Travelers Pilot Movie

(1976) Time Travelers is a science fiction movie starring Sam Groom, Tom Hallick, and Richard Basehart. The teleplay was written by Jackson Gillis from a story by Charles Willard Byrd. The film was originally produced by Irwin Allen to be a remake of the 1960s series The Time Tunnel which ran only one season. The pilot did not sell due to litigation and was repackaged as an ABC Movie of the Week. Byrd claimed and proved in court that his story had been used for this movie. The names used in the movie and the plot were nearly identical to what Byrd had written in the early 50's.

Varan the Unbelievable

(1958) When a rare species of butterfly is found in a mysterious valley in Japan, a pair of entomologists go to investigate and find more. However, when they get there they find an uncharted lake and as they are observing it they are caught in a landslide and killed. A reporter named Yuriko, the sister of one of the men decides to go to the area to find out what exactly happened. She is accompanied by another entomologist named Kenji and a reporter named Horiguchi. When they get to the village where the men were last seen alive they find out about a legend regarding a giant monster. They soon find out that it is not a legend and the monster named Varan is very much alive. Soon Varan leaves the valley where he has lived for millions of years and is heading for Tokyo.

William Castle (April 24, 1914 – May 31, 1977) was an American film director, producer, screenwriter, and actor. He came to the attention of Columbia Pictures for his talent for promotion, and was hired. He learned the trade of film making and became a director, acquiring a reputation for the ability to churn out competent B-movies quickly and on budget. He eventually struck out on his own, producing and directing thrillers which, despite their low budgets, were effectively promoted with gimmicks, a trademark for which he is best known.

X From Outer Space

(1967) The spaceship AAB Gamma is dispatched from Japan to travel to Mars to investigate reports of UFOs in the area. When the Gamma nears the red planet, it comes across a mysterious alien vessel that sprays the ship with spores. Samples are taken back to earth where one of them begins to develop. The cosmic spore grows into a giant, lizard-like creature dubbed "Guilala." The monster begins a reign of destruction through Tokyo. It spits fireballs, feeds on nuclear fuel, turns into a flying, burning sphere and destroys any airplanes and tanks in its path. Guilala is finally defeated by jets laden with bombs, which coat it in a substance called "Guilalalium." It causes Guilala to shrink down to its original spore form. The government promptly launches the spore back into space, where it will circle the sun in an endless orbit.
